Rear extension to historic building in conservation area.

The original single storey extension was previously a pig pen that had been converted and therefore suffered from compromised internal layout and poor insulation values.

The client wished to replace with a larger and more modern extension taking advantage of the garden. The new extension comprises a garden lounge room and mezzanine study with glass balustrade. A fully glazed rear gable elevation maximises view and access into the garden.
